Housed within the History Center in University Circle, the WRHS Research Library is an amazing resource for the academic and the family history researcher. Collections spanning national and local history and genealogy are available Thursday – Saturday in person or online. The Research Library welcomes individual researchers and groups.

The Research Library is principal repository for histories, records, photographs and papers relating to the growth and development of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio, once known as the Connecticut Western Reserve. The millions of records and photos held in the Research Center include extensive genealogy materials to assist in family history research.

Tuesday-Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Cost
$10 for adults
$5 for children ages 3-12
Free for WRHS Members and children under 2
Admission includes access to all WRHS History Center facilities. Please contact the Reference Division staff in advance of any group visit. Library tours are available upon request.
